　 演講摘要：  University of California San Francisco (UCSF) is famous for its prestigious scientists (including four Nobel laureates), medical school and medical center. It is also known for its leading work in translational medicine. Chancellor Susan Desmond-Hellmann will provide an overview of UCSF and discuss her approach to translational medicine, through creating an infrastructure on the campus to facilitate collaborations between scientists, developing innovative partnerships with other academic institutions and biotechnology companies, and shaping government policy at the highest levels.
